Algebra Reflection
Using the two tests, think about your strengths and which gaps you have sorted out. (goals you have achieved). To be completed at the end of the 3 weeks.
Talk to someone about:
How you achieved them (you could talk about how quickly you achieve them, some of the learning qualities that helped you achieve them.)
What strategies you now have to help you with algebraic problems. (use your rubric)
What worked well for your learning (what you did or what your teachers did)
What could have been better (what could you have done better? or what could your teachers have done better?)
Finally post on your Blog
My Algebra reflection…
Over the last couple of days we have been working on our goals AKA algebra.
Before we looked back at our tests I was very confident with the level 3 work but then once we did a bit more work on it I moved up to level 4, once we did a bit of a workshop with Mr K I had grown my knowledge a lot and moved up to my goal AKA level 5 in level 5 you have to find a rule and when I moved out of level 4 we have to work out the rule of the patterns and table.
On my first test I was not so confident about algebra and I got 5 out of 6 but on my recent test I got 6 out of 6 and I am very confident about algebra and working out formulas and drawing graphs up. So I think that the workshops that we did impacted my learning a lot but looking back at last year we did a lot more work on algebra so I think that has backed up my learning as well.
What the teacher can work on…
What Mr K has been doing over this term has helped my a bit but I think that he could make some more challenging things to do on mathletics or just in general, because if I don't have challenging work then I don't learn much but on the other hand If I had a bit more challenging work then I would be able to challenge myself and be learning things at the same time.
But other than that I have learnt quite a bit but I would of learnt a bit more if my work was a bit more challenging.
But Overall I have learnt a lot of things but some things just need to be a bit harder to challenge me.
